Well, this post is very long overdue, but we are happy to announce that we are officially homeowners! Again. Technically, it became official back in January when we closed on the house but, after weeks of renovations, we moved into the house two weeks ago. So it feels more official now. I will share the home buying process as well as some of the changes we’ve done on future posts. But back to the purpose of this post.
Here she is!
Ain’t she a beaut?? Several times a day, I feel like I have to pinch myself to believe that this is our reality. Not only are we living in the state that we (probably more me than we) have dreamed of moving to for years and years, but we also have the quintessential brick house that you would see in a Christmas movie. Think Home Alone but on a much smaller scale. I love driving through our neighborhood with the hilly windy streets, beautiful brick homes and all sorts of trees/greenery. It’s a stark contrast to the flat land, stucco cookie cutter houses and palm trees that was everywhere in Florida. I don’t miss that for one bit.
We are currently getting settled in. It’s been interesting given the current pandemic we are living in. I hope you all are safe, at home, away from crowds. #socialdistancing #stayhomesavelives Thank goodness for online stores like Wayfair and Amazon. I’ve been able to get some items for the home since I can’t hit up my usual spots like Target and HomeGoods. It’s probably a good thing. Help me pace the spending and not give Sergio any extra gray hairs.
More to come! Stay safe friends!
