I am back with my final post of the 2020 Holiday Tour Series! Today, I am showing you all some looks into our kitchen. If you make it to the end, I have a little sweet surprise!
It also just occurred to me that I failed to take out all the CUTE kitchen towels I have!!?? Major fail. But I guess that worked out well because there is nothing blocking the reflection of Gracie on the oven door. Yep, she was supervising while I snapped photos.
I have owned this adorable gingerbread man for more than 10 years! He is just too cute. The candy cane striped trees and gingerbread RV are recent purchases from Michaels.
For the table top, I kept things pretty simple with adding red florals to my new vase!
All the black and white checkered pieces are Mackenzie Childs. I am a little obsessed, if you can’t tell!
Our 2020 Gingerbread House
A few years ago, we started the tradition of decorating a gingerbread house for Christmas. Nothing too crazy. We get a kit that includes all necessary ingredients. This year we got our kit from Target and it required us to assemble to house. I wasn’t too confident that we would be able to achieve a house that stayed standing but low and behold, we successfully built a solid house!
I was in charge of the icing and Sergio placed the candy decorations. Not too bad of a job if I do say so myself!
If you couldn’t tell by the symmetrical placements of the candy, Type As live in this household.
Do you decorate a gingerbread house for Christmas? If yes, are you a pre-made kit type of person or a legit build from scratch type of person?
We are officially wrapping up the 2020 Holiday Tour series! If you missed any of the previous posts, I have linked them below.
I hope you enjoyed these!
